The Sidhu School MBA is now recognized as a STEM-designated degree, reinforcing its commitment to data-driven, analytical, and technology-driven business education. This designation enhances the program’s emphasis on rigorous quantitative analysis, equipping students with the technical, methodical, and innovative problem-solving skills essential for today’s dynamic business environment. Graduates of the STEM MBA program will be well-prepared to apply advanced analytical techniques and strategic thinking to real-world business challenges.

With this new designation, you have the opportunity to further customize your MBA experience by integrating stackable certificates in high-demand fields, including:

  • Business Analytics and AI

  • Sustainability Management

  • Digital and Social Media Marketing

To earn the STEM designation, at least 50% of your total required MBA credits must come from STEM-designated courses. This flexibility allows you to tailor your learning experience while gaining the competitive edge that employers value in an increasingly data-driven world.

Additional Benefits for International Students

For international students, the STEM designation provides a significant advantage in the U.S. job market. Under the STEM OPT extension, eligible F-1 visa holders who complete the STEM-designated MBA can apply for an additional 24 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT) beyond the standard 12-month OPT period. This extended work authorization allows international graduates to gain valuable industry experience, enhance their professional network, and increase their chances of securing long-term career opportunities in the United States.

Take advantage of this opportunity to enhance your career prospects with a cutting-edge, STEM-focused business education at Wilkes University.
